Throughout April Halifax Vandals will be giving shout out to different businesses that are linked to the club through our players or sponsorship.

There’s no doubt that the past 12 months of the COVID pandemic have taken its toll on local businesses.

With three lockdowns, as well as the complicated tiered system, our community, our sponsors and our players have all been hit hard. Pubs, restaurants, gyms, and different ‘non-essential’ businesses have had to go through forced closures - and, as a result, endure a damaging loss of trade.

But as we edge towards the next stage of the easing of lockdown restrictions, Halifax Vandals will be showing our support to local businesses.

Throughout April - and to mark April 12’s relaxation of some restrictions - we’ll be using our social media channels and our club website to give regular shout outs to various businesses and individuals. We’ve also set up a special page so people can easily access all the necessary details to support these businesses.

We’ve already been lucky enough to return to training, so our focus is now on helping others get back on their feet.
