Club House 1 of 2

1. Club House

Vandals Clubhouse was officially opened by RFU President, Mr Malcolm Philips, on Sunday 19th September 2004.

The £500,000 building project was financed entirely by our own resources, apart from a Local Authority grant of £2,440 and was managed by three club stalwarts to whom we are all greatly indebted: Barry George, Bob Ingham and the late Trevor Whitworth.

The clubroom and bar is complimented by a spacious terrace overlooking the main pitch and commands views of Yorkshire, Lancashire and Derbyshire.

At the business end we boast four self-contained changing rooms, each with its own shower area and toilet facilities. In addition we have separate changing room with shower for match officials plus a dedicated First Aid room. Our car park can accomodate an estimated 90 cars and is accessible by coaches.

It would also be fair to say we have some of the finest toilet facilities you will find in any rugby club, including a separate disabled toilet also equipped for feeding and changing our youngest members..of which there is a rapidly expanding number!
